建議保存方法：
短期存放（1-2個月）可置於乾爽通風處，避開陽光直射與潮濕環境。
長期保存建議放入雪櫃冷藏（0-4°C），避免「起粉」現象造成香味流失。
避免使用密封塑膠袋長期儲存，宜放於通氣良好的容器中，或配合吸潮劑和天然香料（八角等）防潮防蟲。
如發現元貝表面有白色粉末，多為自然鹽花，無需擔心，但若有綠色霉斑則需舍棄。
將元貝定期曝曬於陰涼處可以幫助防潮並保持香味，但不可曝曬直射太陽。
使用前可先用清水浸泡去鹽，方便烹調。
